    The cleaning products we include

Plant- and mineral-derived household cleaners, with the manufacturer's complete ingredient list for every one of them printed below.

We print the ingredients instead of describing them

Plenty of cleaning products get sold on a word like "natural" without anyone showing you what is in the bottle. Everything below is quoted directly from the manufacturer's published ingredient sheet, word for word. Read it and decide for yourself.

Free & Clear if you want it

Free & Clear versions are made without added fragrance or dye. If anyone in your house is sensitive to fragrance, say so and we will bring Free & Clear wherever it is offered. The concentrates are also unscented until you add a fragrance oil yourself at dilution, so either way you control whether there is any fragrance at all.

    Common questions

What cleaning products come with a RainSoft system?

We include a supply of Pure Selects concentrated household cleaners: multipurpose cleaner, laundry soap, liquid dish soap, automatic dishwasher gel, and glass cleaner. They are concentrates you dilute at home, which is why a small box lasts a long time.

    Are the cleaning products plant-based?

The household cleaners are plant- and mineral-derived, and we publish the manufacturer's full ingredient list for each one so you can read it yourself rather than take our word for it. Every ingredient names a plant or mineral source — soy, coconut, corn, orange oil, and mineral pH adjusters. We avoid the phrase '100% plant-based' because these are formulated products and we would rather show you the actual list.

    What is Free & Clear?

Free & Clear is the variation made without added fragrance or dye. If anyone in the house is sensitive to fragrance, or you simply do not want colorants in your cleaners, ask for Free & Clear and that is what we will bring.

Do the products contain dyes or fragrance?

The Free & Clear versions contain no added fragrance or dye. The standard versions let you add a fragrance oil yourself at dilution time, so you control whether there is any fragrance at all and how much.

How much money do these actually save?

That depends on household size and how much laundry you run, so we will not put a guaranteed figure on it. RainSoft publishes an estimate of up to $6,500 over ten years for a family of four using the CleanStart laundry system, but that is the manufacturer's estimate rather than a promise from us.

Are these certified organic or third-party certified?

No. The manufacturer does not carry organic or third-party eco certification on this line, and we are not going to imply otherwise. What we can give you is the complete ingredient list for every product, which is on this page.
